The word “curse” holds different meanings. Using a “curse” word is synonymous with swearing or cussing. Curses are also associated with spells or incantations, used by persons who wish misfortune or evil upon others. Or, a curse is referred to as the actual evil that has been invoked upon one.

Humanity is capable of taming every bird and beast in existence, even reptiles and sea creatures great and small. But no man has ever demonstrated the ability to tame his own tongue!
